Each activity is rooted in our faith, Islam, led in part or whole by one of our youth, and the entire team supports them.
30 Days of Giving
One of our flagship events. Every Ramadan, our youth commit to thirty consecutive days of service, one act of kindness for every day of fasting. Past years have included food deliveries, hospital visits, neighbor check-ins, and quiet acts of generosity that never make it to social media.
Community Enrichment
From back-to-school supplies to winter coats to Thanksgiving meal deliveries, our community drives turn shared moments into shared support. Hundreds of volunteers, thousands of items collected, and families across Middle Tennessee who feel seen at exactly the right time of year.
Crisis Assistance
A house fire. A medical emergency. A job loss that hit at the worst possible time. When families in our community face crisis, MMY shows up — with emergency funds, hot meals, transportation, and the steady presence of neighbors who refuse to look away.
Food Security
No one in our community should choose between rent and groceries. Through weekly food box deliveries, holiday meal programs, and partnerships with local food banks, MMY has reached more than 60,000 people since 2015, most of them quietly, without ever being named.
Refugee Support
Resettlement is one moment. Rebuilding is years. MMY walks with refugee families across Middle Tennessee through the long work of starting over — translating school paperwork, stocking pantries, finding pediatricians, and being the people who answer the phone when a hard week hits.
Scholarships
Three students died for who they were. Their legacy lives in students who continue what they started. Our MTSU scholarship, Named in memory of our Three Winners. It supports students at Middle Tennessee State University pursuing education with purpose.
