Scholarships

Through the MTSU Community Foundation, we offer two scholarships each year to support local students in their educational journey.

This scholarship serves as both a tribute and an investment in the future of our youth, ensuring that their dreams and aspirations are within reach.

MTSU Scholarship in Memory of Deah, Yusor, and Razan
This scholarship was established to honor the lives of Deah, Yusor, and Razan, who tragically lost their lives in Chapel Hill, NC, in 2015. It reflects their legacy of service, education, and community.

• Award: Two annual grants of $500 each

• Eligibility Requirements:
  Must be a resident of Murfreesboro
  Incoming college freshman
  Minimum 3.0 GPA
  Demonstrated volunteer experience in diverse environments
