Food security is one of our highest priorities. We believe no individual or family in our community should have to face hunger alone. 

Through a variety of outreach programs and community partnerships, MMY works to provide both immediate relief and ongoing support to those experiencing hardship.

These efforts go beyond providing meals, they strengthen the spirit of compassion, dignity, and care within our community.

Some of our key initiatives include:

• Giving Thanks by Giving – Our flagship Thanksgiving initiative, delivering traditional holiday meals to families in need and to first responders serving the community during the holiday. in 2025, we home delivered over 1100 warm meals all over our city.

• Warm Meal Distribution – Preparing and serving meals to individuals experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.

• Crisis Food Boxes– Providing emergency food boxes and fulfilling urgent food requests for families facing difficult circumstances.

• Canned Food Drives – Collecting nonperishable food items to help stock local food pantries and support charitable organizations serving vulnerable families.

• And More – Expanding community-led efforts that promote consistent access to nutritious food and essential support year-round.

Every meal shared and every box delivered represents the power of a community coming together to care for one another.
