A Seat At The Table

"To date, we have held almost 50 "A Seat at The Table" events, bringing almost a 1000 people together to discuss, build bridges, and create a community"

  • In 2015 we launched a program called "Face to Face" to facilitate conversations between community members of different backgrounds.
In 2016, we started using the "A Seat At The Table" program which was created and structured by the Faith & Culture Center.

  • A Seat At The Table (ASATT) brings people of different backgrounds together for a conversation over a shared meal. We take care of the catering and provide a facilitator.  Our ASATT dinners are not meant to be an educational experience only, but rather, a personal one – with those around the table sharing their stories and asking questions, helping to break boundaries and form relationships.  In this way,  we get to know and better understand one another and the things that we care about.
